Are You Ok?
Really? Well... are You. ... ??? Heat goes up: So; Insulating upper parts of the house is essential and really cheap, then walls, and at last floors. ok. You can't "keep" warm air in the house if upper parts leak, so -> up Y Go. Ok. Last item is that floor!!!! B.Greetings: AnDy

Thermo underground heating costs about £10,000 to install here. Plus you'd have to dig up your back garden. Won't be worth it if we move in a few years' time.

What about buying a normal house with central heating and 4(8)-grade window glasses + roof-insulation. Instead of those boilers and etc. stupid wasting appartus. A Warm house is nice and cool during warm seasons, so no need to use thermopumps nor aircondition.
AnDy P.S. You brittish can afford that.

Hi Piper! Just read your blog, this is all new to me, I only use these machines for quotes, bills etc.
Liked the photos of yours in the snow, we do not usually get any here in south west Cornwall. Look I'm a builder, and if you every need to know anything that you can't find out about or need a geniune shortcut to get something in this line done, drop me an e-mail and I'lll see if I can help. When things are the way they are at the moment, saving money is the name of the game. All the best for now, bye, Jeff :->

A group of friends and I have done a taste test on every (yes, EVERY) selection of supermarket mince pies since September (we must ask at this point WHY ON EARTH they are being sold in September?!?!); anyway, here's the results!
Asda Finest at the top (with M&S a close 2nd), with Iceland at bottom (with Tesco Finest a mere notch above). We're doing Xmas puds next year - but we're now starting on stollen! Will keep you posted...
