Hope you are well Piper. I have recently had a law firm pertaining that some relative had left me a small fortune. Isn't that nice of them. Better to be rid of them and live pennyless, lol. Take care, Caren...

Hello, Piper, got six hens and a cock in the garden, all pheasants unfortunately from the economic point of view, counter-frugal, as they nibble the veggies and don't leave you any eggs, not any I can find anyway. Never mind, they're lovely burds, and what's a nibble between friends? Rabbie said: "I doubt na, whyles, but thou may thieve,
What then? poor beastie, thou maun live!
A daimen icker in a thrave
'S a sma' request;
I'll get a blessin wi' the lave,
An' never miss't!
Hey, can I join the clan?

Hi piper,

Did I see details of a JC employment adviser on your blog somewhere?
I have searched but seem to have lost it.

I am normally treated as some extremely undesirable alien, by some equally arrogant abnoxious civil servant who at best, redirect me to some totally unsuitable/confused at some useless "training" firm for training that I do not need or want, and for which I am already too well qualified. After over 30 years as a Group 2, Class 1 part time/spasmodic driving instructor, they believe that I would like some-push bike or lawn-mower training.

Back then, I drove various shovels up to 25tonnes, dozers/draglines up to 60t, and small dumpers up to 250t. I have also driven trombones of over 30 meters/80t, and have driven buses/ambulances, oft 75 hours/2000miles/wk on 5x nights. I also have 8 IT subjects at Level 2, & am currently studying for BSL 102.

Many of the courses they offer are only suitable for semi or completely illiterate, & are not intended to improve their situation either.

They should be offered an adequate improvement to their education, as a means of improving their future "self-defence" & self-sufficiency.

Hey Andy. Good idea but you can't get a mortgage on a wooden house in the UK. Be great to build your own though, wouldn't it? Cheers, Piper
Mar. 9
... I Think: build a new wooden house together, sell it imnmediately for a "lazy people", then build Your own with all frugz'n thingz to add. Here in Finland people really do not have much cheaper "process" to get a really "earned" own house.

But it's reasonably frugall to concentrate to insulate attic/roof... OK. Even if You move, You really will save money for that next house!
OK..huh.
Feb. 13
OK: First insulate that house (upper parts), ok.... this order anyway.
Feb. 13
underground heating... OK: Y mean ground-heating! OK !!! Here in finland and sweden people had to insulate houses always first, "underground"(means that we have to drill really deep hole to get groundwater and put pipes into hole ~ +4 degrees C is the limit) heat is used here a lot but it does not help one unless the house is insulated->"warm".
